Buying from this shop
What you and the studio are agreeing to when you place an order. Plain English, because nobody reads the other kind.
Who you are buying from
Stitch Wishess is one person making things by hand in the United States. There is no warehouse and no team — when you order, Abi makes it.
Placing an order means you agree to what is on this page, along with the shipping and returns terms.
Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars. Postage is added as its own line in your bag before you pay, so the total you see is the total you are charged.
Card payments are handled by Stripe. An order is not confirmed until that payment goes through.
If something is listed at the wrong price by mistake, you will be told before anything is made, and you can cancel for a full refund. A typo is not a contract.
Made to order, and what that means
Most pieces are made after you order rather than taken off a shelf. Expect 3 to 7 days before yours is on its way.
Because each one is made by hand, no two are identical. Bead placement, paint texture and colour vary a little from the photographs. That is the nature of handmade work rather than a fault, and it is worth knowing before you order rather than after.
Photographs are taken in the studio in natural light, and screens differ, so colours may not match exactly.
Changing or cancelling an order
Message me as soon as you can. If work has not started, changing or cancelling is easy. Once a piece has been made, the returns terms apply.
Looking after what you buy
These are decorative keepsakes rather than toys, and none of them are waterproof. Beaded pens, keychains and signs will not survive a washing machine, a dishwasher or a determined toddler, and damage from that sort of thing is not a fault.
Words and photographs on this site
The photographs and the writing here are the studio's own. Please do not copy them to sell things elsewhere. Sharing a link is always welcome.
The honest limits
If something goes wrong with an order, what I can put right is the order: a replacement, or your money back. I cannot be responsible beyond that — for a parcel arriving too late for a birthday, say, once it has been handed to the postal service.
None of this is meant to take away rights you have under US consumer law. Where the two disagree, the law wins.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change as the shop grows. Whatever was on this page the day you ordered is what applies to your order.
